Description.- Country paper; Devanāgari characters; several hand
writings; the handwriting is bold in the beginning with 7 lines on a page, but it grows smaller from fol. 4r onwards till towards the end it has 15 lines on a page with 49 letters in a line. The work chiefly deals with different rasas but takes into consideration other medicines also. On fol. 8a we find diagrams of 4 different types of utensils used in preparing the rasas. Sanskrit text is followed by Hindi Translation. The name of the author is rarorat in the beginning, but the last colophon on fol. 74a gives the name of नृसिंहभारती. The work ends there. On fol. 74° we find medicine for वन(ण)प्रयसंग्रहनी(णी) in Hindi. On fol. 75, we find a record of the sale of the Ms. for 14 Rupees. The date of the sale is curiously 3 years earlier than the copying of the book. Paper is old and musty. There are four lines in black ink on both the borders. Fol. 56 is missing.

श्रीगणेशाय नमः॥ श्रीआनंदभारतीविरचिते आनंदमाला रसाधिकारलिषिते सत्तिरमहा यो जक्ष्मानिलकुष्टदोषसमनः श्लेष्मापहो मुक्षितः पंचत्वं च गतो ददति नियतं राज्यं चिरंजीवितः बद्ध खे गमनं कराति सततं विधाधरत्वं जथा सोयं पातु जुगे जुगे युगपतिः श्रीसूतरायो प्रभुः॥१॥ पारद सर्वरोगानां येता पुष्टि कर स्मृतः
मुज्ञेन सधित कुत्सिंसिद्धं देहलोहयो ॥२॥ etc. Ends.- fol.740
