The Ms. deals with the properties of herbs and eatables. The Scribe, Joshi Mathura dāsa seems to be a Gujarati as is evident from the names of some eatables and the following two legends found on fad. it

ओजस्यो वाजिद्भुक्तमाशे वातप्रकोपन ॥ २ ॥ तस्यायं स्वादु कटुम्लं त्वक स्वादुलवणा मता।
दंतोत्कृष्टो रसः श्वेता तुल्यो रुच्या कफप्रदः ॥३॥ etc. Ends.- fol. I"
