The present codex is a commentary by Pürnasena on

श्रीगणपतये यमः॥ श्रीवर्द्धमानं प्रणिपत्य मूर्दा सामंतभद्राय जनाय हेतोः । श्रीपूर्णसेनैः सुखबोधनार्थ प्रारभ्यते योगशतस्य टीका ॥१॥
अथ जीवा अनादिनिधनास्तेषां जीवानामाहारवातशीतातपवर्षाविषभासननिद्रादिभिर्व्याधया उत्पद्यते तेषां व्याधीनां प्रकारा ये पुरा सर्वज्ञभाषितास्तेभ्यो वैवशास्त्रस्य सारं गृहीत्वा योगशतं कर्तुकामो पररुचिः
