(1) Kārikās-31 in number, eulogising the act of throwing the bones of departed parents in some sacred place. __ (2) Prayoga-The method and rite are laid down for throwing the bones into a sacred place or stream. This portion is identical with Tirthe'sthiprakṣepavidhi,

श्रीगणेशाय नमः॥ अथास्थिशुद्धिकारिका ॥ पुत्रो वाप्यथवा भ्राता सापिंडयशिष्य एव च।। अस्थ्युद्धारनिमित्तं वै हेनावातिल वा पुनः॥१॥ श्राई विधि विनिर्वृत्य ततस्तानि समुद्धरेत्।।
उदरमितवाङ्गानि क्षिप्तुं तीर्थे विनिचितं ॥ २ ॥ etc. Ends.- fol. 6.
एतच तीर्थमाने कार्य ॥ गंगायां च विशेषतो॥ (उदाहृतं वचनेभ्यः एवं कृते फलं प्रागेवोक्तं ॥ हिरण्यश्राद्धादि ॥ गां दद्यात् ॥ .' इति अस्थिशुद्धि अस्थिप्रक्षेपविधिश्च शोनकोकप्रकारः॥७॥
