legible; four lines in black ink on either border; marks of punctuation, topics, names of authorities quoted, and the last colophon are tinged with red pigment; paper old, much worn out, musty and soiled ; first 12 folios wanting.
The work starts with pūja, and goes on to describe japa, tarpana, brahmayajina, vaisvadeva, nityasrdddha, bhojana, and ends with sayana. It is a compilation from different Smrtis and Puranas. The present codex, accord. ing to its last verse, dealing with ähnika forms part of acārakānda, the second section of Tattva samgraha. Aufrecht notices only our ms. in his Catalogus Catalo
gorum, ii, 46a. Age.- Appears to be very old. Author:- Koneribhatta. Begins.- fol. 13.
पतंगकृष्णः । श्रीशंभुसूर्याखुरथांबकृष्णाः प्रदक्षिणं मध्यविदिक्षु पूज्याः। स्वस्थानगाः सर्वमनोरथ ... अर्घ विनिम्नंति परत्रसंस्था ।
इत्युभयमपि समानं अथ प्राचीविचारः । भागमे । देव साचक्योरं...तः
पूर्वासादिगिहोच्यत इति । etc. Ends.- fol.8b मार्कडेयः शून्या लये श्मशाने च एकवृक्षे चतुष्पथे।
महादेवालये चापि मृतके सति न स्वपेत् ॥
न स्वप्याच तया देर्भ विना दीक्षां कथं चनेति । स्त्रीगमनविधिः। भागवनाये वीक्ष्यते।
इति श्रीभट्टकोनेरिरचिते तत्वसंग्रहेभाचारकांडे संपूर्णमाहिकं तु द्वितीयके।
