No. A 1881-82 Şize.- 8 in. by 4 in. Extent.- 9 leaves ; 9 lines to a page ; 27 letters to a line. Description.- Country paper; Devanagari characters; handwriting
legible; two lines in red ink on either border; benedictory phrase topics and colophon are tinged with red pigment; accents of vedic mantras marked with red ink; paper is very old, musty, very much worn out; the right hand corner of the leaves has disappeared.
The work is a part of some bigger treatise which dealt with all sorts of domestic or vedic rites. The present codex deals with agnyädhāna according to the rules of Āśvalāyana. The beginning of our ms. is identical with that of Mahayogapañcaratna (Mitra's Cat. of Bikaner mss., p. 130, No. 302) and Prayogapancaratna (ibid, p. 139, No. 321) by Nārāyaṇa Bhatta. The term Pañcaratna suggests that the author had written five treatises on
Prayogas, of which Prayogaratna is one. Age.- Appears to be very old. Author.- Nārāyaṇabhatta (?).
