legible; three lines in red ink on each border; benedictory phrases, marks of punctuation, topics and the names of authorities quoted are tinged with red pigment; paper is old, worn out and musty. The concluding portion with the colophon is missing. The last line agrees: with the first 2 lines of the first of concluding verses as given in I. O. Cat , p. 570*, Ms. No. 1660.
The work 'vivarana is a commentary by Nșsimha on the Kalanirnayadipika by his father Rāmacandra. The latter work itself is a commentary on Mādhavācārya's Madhaviya-Kalanirņaya. Rāmacandra was the son of Krsnācārya, son of Anantācārya," and pupil of Gopāla.
According to Kane it was composed about 1400 A.D. Age. — Appears to be old. Author.- Npsimha,
