Country paper; Devanagari characters; handwriting legible; four lines in black ink on either border; topics and names of authorities tinged with red pigment irregularly ; paper very old, much worn out and musty; fol. 65 missing.
Age. - Appears to be very old.

A compilation on ähnika, daily rites and duties, from different Smṛtis and Purāņas. At the end of the work there are verses on prātaḥsmarana by one Mahadeva Pandita. Aufrecht records one Ms. in his Catalogus Catalogorum, II, 11.

इदानीमाह्निकं निरूप्यते ॥
तत्र शयनस्थितस्य कृत्यमाह याज्ञवल्क्यः ॥
ब्राह्मे मुहूर्त्ते चोरथाय चिंतयेदात्मनो हितमिति ॥ विष्णुरपि ॥
ब्राह्मे मुहूर्ते वुद्धेत धर्मार्थी चानुचिंतयेत् कायक्लेशाश्च तन्मूलान्वेदतत्वार्थमेव चेति ॥ etc.
वस्त्रं कुंभादि सकलं तद्धोत्रे प्रतिपादयेत् । ब्राह्मणाम्भोजयेच्छक्रया सुशीलान्वेदपारगान् ॥
