ज्येष्टं जिनं प्रणम्यादावकलंक कलध्वनिं ।। श्रीविद्यानंदिन ज्येष्टं जिनव्रतमथोच्यते ॥१॥ अथ श्रीश्रेणिको राजा । गिरिं विपुलमास्थितं ।
सिद्धार्थनंदनं गौतमं प्रत्यवक् प्रभु ॥२॥ etc. Ends-fol.5a
सुत्रोस्य लक्ष्मण इति प्रणतीर्गुरूणां । कुर्वश्चकास्ति विदुषां धुरि वर्णनीयः। . अभ्यर्थ्य कारितमिदं श्रुतसागराख्य-। माख्यानकं चिरतरं शुभदं समस्तु ॥ ८ ॥ इति प्रचंडपंडिताग्रणीसूरिश्रीसुतसागरविरचितं ज्येष्टजिनवरव्रतोपाख्यानं समाप्तं ॥॥

Devanagari characters; big, thoroughly legible, uniform and very beautiful hand-writing; borders ruled in three lines and edges in one, in red ink; numbers for the verses, their dandas, some words and puşpikās etc. written in red ink; white paste used; foll. numbered in both the margins; in the left-hand
margins the title is written as ॥ महा०॥; fol. 1a blank; so is the fol. 478a; fol. 1b coloured yellow and the whole matter written on it in black ink ; condition excellent; complete; 37
paricchedas in all, in old Apabhramsa language. Age - Samvat 1883. Author -Mahakavi Puspadanta. Subject -- Life-history of sixtythree high personages ; first part of the
work dealing with the life of Bhagavan Rşabhadeva.
