1881-82. Size.- 13 in. by 5 in. Extent.-- 56 folios ; 17 lines to a page ; 66 letters to a line.
Description.- Country paper thin and grey; Devanagari characters
with EAETS; sufficiently big, legible, uniform and elegant hand-writing ; borders ruled in four lines in black ink; red chalk used; fol. ra blank ; so is the fol. 566; several foll. more or less worm-eaten ; strips of paper pasted to foll. ja and 566; foll. I to 3 partly torn; condition very fair ; foll. numbered in the right-hand margin only; complete ; extent 4544 ślokas. This work consists of 8 adhyayanas, the extent of each of which is as under :

Age.- Pretty old. Subject. - This is one of the six chedasūtras. It is written in
Prākrit. A three-fold division referred to in the beginning is not to be found. There are specific titles for the ist, 2nd, 5th and 6th adhyayanas. They indicate the subjectmatter. The 3rd and the 4th adhyayanas treat of kusila. In
