It is certainly gratifying that, within less than a year from the resumption of the publication of the Descriptive Catalogue of Manuscripts in August 1975, we have been able to bring out yet another volume of the Catalogue. This volume dealing with Tantra was, like the preceding one dealing with Dharmaśāstra, compiled by our esteemed friend, the late Dr. Har Datta Sharma. We take this opportunity to pay our tribute of gratitude to the memory of that indefatigable scholar.
