[334. नवदुर्गार्चनं दिव्यं सर्वतंत्रेषु गोपितं ।
सर्वकामप्रदं काम्यं साधकानां शुभावहं । भैरवः।
एतद्ह्यतमं देवि न कस्य कथितं मया ।
पूजाशययदीच्छायां कोटिपूजा फलप्रदा ॥etc. Ends.- fol. 16
पझे स्थितां महालक्ष्मीमते महिषमर्दिनीं। घंटां शूलं हलं पाशं मुसुलानि धनुः शरान् ।।
दधतीमुज्ज्वलां नौमि देवीं गौरीसमुद्भवां ॥ इति ध्यात्वा मानसोपचारैः सम्पूज्य अष्टोत्तरशतं प्रणम्य बाह्यपूजां कृत्वा सप्तशती जपेत् । पाठांते पुनर्मूलं तावत्संख्याकं अपेदिति । नवार्णवमंत्रविधिः ।।

The present codex in the form of a dialogue between Bhairava and Parvati, starts with the former's expounding of brahmavidya, which ends in the middle of tol. 2 with the colophon इति सूतंत्रब्रह्मविद्या । शुभ । Then Bhairava describes the rites to be performed in the beginning of a new year. From the last colophon, it is suspected that the present manual forms a chapter ( patala ) of some larger Samhita. It is possible to identify it with Navavarşasava. varnan amahatmya from the Bhrngisamhita, mentioned in
Catalogus Catalogorum, ii, 61°? Age.- Appears to be fairly old. Author.- Anonymous.
