Size.-8 in. by 4 in. Extent.— 9 leaves ; 8 lines to a page ; 32 letters to a line. Description. - Country paper; Devanāgarī characters; hand-writing good; two lines in red ink on each border; benedictory phrase, verse-numbers and colophon are tinged with red pigment. Paper is very old, musty and worn out.
The work contains 114 verses describing the worship of Visņu. According to Aufrecht the author was called, before initiation, Dhundho Raghunātha, pupil of Padma nābhatirtha and Akşobhyatirtha, commented on the writings of Anandatirtha. He is quoted by Nrsimha in Smrtyrathasāgara ( Oxf. 2588 ). He died in 1268. Catalogus Catalogorum, i, 1994
The work is finished on fol. 8b (2nd line). After this 19 verses follow. They describe the different mudras. Age.— Appears to be very old.
