The Ganapatipañcanga is taken from the Rudrayamalatantra and contains the usual five parts of ( 1 ) Mantro - ddhara, (2) Paddhati, (3) Kavaca, (4) Sahasranama and ( 5 ) Stotra. In foll. 9-10, which are missing, the latter part of Kavaca and the beginning of Sahasranama are lost. Of Stotra, which begins with the last three lines of fol. 14, we have only a verse and a quarter. The remainder is lost. foll. 15-31 are missing, which must have contained the Stotra of the present work and a part of the Aghorapancanga. On the basis of internal evidence I have changed the title from Ganapatikalpa to pañcanga.

तोषित नतिभिः स्तोत्रैः पार्वतीसहितं शिवं ॥ २ ॥ etc. After verses 8*
विघ्नो न बाधते जातु यस्तं संपूजयेत्सदा ॥ ८ ॥ यो जपेद्देवि तं मंत्रं कवचं तस्य धारयेत् ॥ पठेनानां सहस्रं च स्तोत्रं मूलैकसाधनं ॥ ९ ॥ विघ्नो न बाधते तस्य कार्यहानिर्न वा भवेत् ॥ etc.
