characters; handwriting clear, legible and uniform; text in the middle with the commentary above and below it; folios numbered in left hand margins; complete; the Ms. contains another Ms. viz. -
Kathavallyupanişad with Dipikā - It has a separate number and pagination; but both these manuscripts are tied
in one bundle. Age - Does not appear to be very old. Author of Comm. - Samkarānanda pupil of Anandātmayati. Begins — (Text) fol. 10
ब्रह्मा देवानां प्रथमः संबभूव विश्वस्य कर्ता भुवनस्य गोप्ता
स ब्रह्मविद्या सर्व विद्याप्रतिष्ठामथर्वाय ज्येष्ठपुत्राय प्राह | etc. Begins — (Comm.) fol. 10
मुंडकं मुंडमार्गस्थं ब्रह्मात्मैक्यावबोधकं शंकराचार्यामार्गेणैव पदे पदे ब्रह्मविद्याया अतिदुर्लभत्वं दर्शयितुं इतिहासरूपेण श्रुतिः प्रथमतो गुरुपरं
