Jaina Literature and Philosophy Description.-- Country paper thick, tough and white ; Jaina Deva
nāgari characters; very small, fairly legible, uniform and very good hand-writing; borders ruled in three lines in black ink; red chalk used; foll. numbered in the righthand margin ; there is some space kept blank in the centre of the numbered and the unnumbered sides as well; yellow pigment used while making corrections ; edges of each and every fol. slightly gone; small strips of paper pasted to some of them ; condition on the whole tolerably
good; complete ; 278 verses in all. Age.-- Old. Author.- Not mentioned. Subject. - Narration of Arāmaśobhã so named as the garden used
to accompany her ( Vidyutprabha ) wherever she went. This narration illustrates the fruit of being a devotee of a Tirtlankara. There is a Prākrit work named Aramasoha. Its substance in Gujarāti is given in the publication dated
V. S. 1997 and issued from Surat. Begins.-fol. I.५६०
अन्यदा श्रीमहावीरस्वामी ‘राजग्रहे ' पुरे । समघासरदुद्याने । भूयो 'गुणशिला'भिधे ॥ १ भगवान सुमनः कृत्वा समव[:]सरणे स्थिते(त)ः।

(भ)वतु ॥ Reference.- In Jinaratnakosa ( Vol. I, pp. 33-34 ) several Mss.
are noted. Of them this Ms. and the next deal with the same work, and so is the case with the subsequent two Mss. But such a distinction is not made in this Jinaratna. kośa. The Ms. No, 1293 of 1887-91 remains to be des. cribed.
