Preface
The present volume i.e. part XVI is again in continuation of oar Catalogues of Sanskrit & Prakrit manuscripts featuring regularly in our series and contains description of some 3213 manuscripts deposited at Accession No. 33976-37500 at our Jodhpur office. As usual, we have made it more useful by adding extracts from some important manuscripts, three separate idices relating to works, authors scribes etc..
While recording numerous old manuscripts ranging from 13th to 20th centuries, the present volume includes the 'Dhvanyaloklocan' (36560), of 1204 v.s. supposed to be the oldest copy on paper available in India. Equally iinportant are the Bhaktamala of Krishpananda (34774), Jamvijay Mahakavya with the commentary of Narahari (34180), Commentary of Raghuvamsha by Kirttivarddhan Pathak (35771), Kavyadarpan tika of krishnadas (35221), kavyalocan by Hariram and Bhaktivilas (35790).
Dr. D. B. Kshirsagar & Shri Ratanlal Kamad, Senior Research Assistants too have their meagre but equally valuable share in preparing 700 & 200 identity cards.
Shri G. V. Dadhich took keen interest in reading the proofs etc.
