Preface
The Institute has so far brought out several descriptive Catalogues of Sanskrit and Prakrit manuscripts sovoring some ninety percent. manuscripts deposited in the Institute. The present volume is devoted to works preserved at the Headquartors and oldest in this lot is the 'Trişaşgi Salaka Puruza ogrita' (1339130893) dated V.S. 1460, extracts from a number of important manuscripts are also given. As ancient dated manuscripts we may point out copies of wellknown works such as the 'Pārsvanātha Laghu Caritra' (900/31903), the *Khandana Khanda Khadya (437131167) with commegtarý by Ananda Pūrņa, the Kālikācārya Katbă' (887/30964), the 'Tājika Nilakanths' (1607/31603) and the 'Bhuvana Dipaka' (1635/30296) dated V.S. 1654, 1489, 1476, 1501, 1509 and V.S. 1548 respectively, D.N. Sharma, Surveyor has done good labour in preparing the catalogue and rightly deseves a word of thanks.
Pukhraj of the Pankaj Press, Jodhpur and G.B. dadhich, Junior Technical Assistant in our establishment, also deserve mention as printers and proof-readers.
