Foll. one; size 67x33.2 cm; paper; Devanagari, Kaithi and Arabic scripts; a sloka in 5 lines and signatures of more than thirty persons%3B Sanskrit, Hindi and Persian; dated A.D. 1669. Authors and scribes: Goswami Tulasidasa (c.A.D. 1543-1623) and others.

श्री जानकी बल्लभो विजयते । द्विश्शरन्नाभि संधत्तं द्विस्स्थापयति नाश्रितान् द्विईदाति न चाथिभ्यो रामो द्विन्न व भाषते ॥१॥
Ends :
साछी पीतवर दसवधी पुरन सुत साछी रामराइ गरीव.........म० पु रिफनंसुर साछी धनीराम मयुराये सुत ।
Deed of arbitration regarding the settlement of property of a local Zamindar in which the poet Goswami Tulasidāsa was one of the arbitrators and the first 5 lines are in his own handwriting. This is the only known handwriting of this great saint.
The deed has been authenticated by the Quazi of Banaras. Lent by the All India Kashiraj Trust, Varanasi.

मंगलानां च कर्तारौ वन्दे वाणीविनायकौ ॥१॥ Ends : श्रीमद्रामचरित्रमानसमिदं भक्त्यावगाहन्ति ये ।
ते संसारपतंगघोरकिरणदह्यन्ति नो मानवा: ।। २ ।।
