The original of this Sanskrit text was in Greek. It was translated into Arabic by Kustabi-Biluka-valuvabi at the instance of Abul-AchchasaAhaska. Nayanasukhacharya translated it into Sanskrit with the help of Abida, an Arabic scholar.
