Description. Palm-leaf some-what thick, durable and greyish; Devanagari characters with gears; small, legible, uniform and good hand-writing; the Ms. presents an appearance of the work having been written in three different columns; but, really speaking, it is not so; for, the lines of the first column go up to the two other columns; borders of each of the columns ruled in three lines, in black ink ; red chalk used; there is a hole in each leaf in the spaces between the columns; on the whole two holes; a string passes through each of the holes ; leaves numbered in both the margins; in the right hand margin as 1, 2 etc., and in the left hand margin as eft, at, at, o etc.; some of the leaves stuck १ २
