gari characters with genas; bold, big, legible, elegant and uniform hand-writing ; borders ruled in four lines in black ink: the intervening space between the pairs coloured red rather indifferently; red chalk and yellow pigment as well used; a beautiful pattern on fol. 1a; the same repeated on the last fol. (986); unnumbered sides marked with a small circular disc in red ink in the centre; the numbered having over and above this, two more, one in each margin ; numbers of foll. written in two different margins of one and the
