Col. No. 10 V means the Vikrama Samvat in which the Ms. was copied and the italic C before the V indicates that the approximate date is given by the editor.
Col. No. 11, Relevant information about the Ms. is given in this column. Here Pub. means Published by '. The names of the publishers are abbreviated (See the list of Abbreviations). In this column the word tripatha means that the text is given in the middle of the folio and on both the up and the down sides of the text the commentary is copied. Pañcapatha means that the commentary is also copied in both of the margins of the folio. It indicates that there are five sections of the folio. The middle is reserved for the text, up and down portions as well as the right and the left margins are reserved for the commentary.
In order to distinguish the one Ms. from another of the same name we have given the beginnings of these Mss. in this column which are indicated by Beg Beginning.

This Catalogue of Sanskrit and Prakrit Mss. is prepared in accordance with the subject-list provided by the said Ministry. In a particular subject if the Mss. are found in more than one languages, one languages, first of all, the Sanskrit Mss. are listed which are followed by the Prakrit and the Apabhramsa Mss.
Beginning from the Vedas up to the Buddhist Literature the text of all the Mss. from S. No. 1 to S. No. 192 is in Sanskrit. From S. No. 193 begins the Jaina Canonical works which go up to S. No. 1071. The text of all these Mss. is in Prakrit. Then follows the Jaina Stotras and other subjects which have the texts in Sanskrit as well in Prakrit. In such cases first place is given to Sanskrit Mss. and then the Prakrit Mss. are recorded.
The language of the commentaries is indicated in brackets. The details of classification of subjects can be seen in the Contents of the catalogue.
This volume ends with the Jaina Philosophical works.
Not only the said Muniji handed over his entire collection but he was also kind enough to co-operate in preparing the catalogue of the said Mss.
Introduction and the Indices of the catalogue will be given in the third volume of this work, only the Appendix in the form of Prasastis and other relevant matter is given at the end of this volume. We hope to finish the printing of the entire catalogue at the end of A. D. 1964.
