Noagamataḥ Dravyanikṣepa
A variety of Dravya Niksepa (virtually or metaphorically transferred epithet);
the epithet 'knower' given-to the dead body of a person who used to be the knower of the subject (or the meaning of the word) under consideration; to the body of the person who is a would-be knower of the subject (or the meaning of the word) under consideration; to that substance which symbolically represents the subject (or the meaning of the word) under consi deration.
