इस कोश का संपादन करने में ४६ ग्रन्थों व सूत्रों का सहारा लिया गया है। संपादक द्वय का परिश्रम सराहनीय है। जैन दर्शन गहन है। सब विषयों पर कोश तैयार होना बहुत कठिन है परन्तु यदि ऐसे कुछ खास विषयों के कोश तैयार हो सके तो उन जैन स्कालरों को बड़ी सुविधा हो जाय ।
इस प्रकार का लेश्या कोश प्रथम बार ही प्रगट हुआ है। संपादकों ने बहुत परिश्रम करके जनता के हितार्थ यह पुस्तक लिखी और प्रकाशित की है। इसमें लेश्या शब्द के अर्थ, पर्यायवाची शब्द, परिभाषा के उपयोगी पाठ, लेश्या के भेद, लेश्या पर विवेचन गाथा, लेश्या संबंधी फुटकर पाठ विद्वानों को पढ़ने और समझने योग्य है। सारांश यह है कि लेश्या परिणामों का विस्तृत विवेचन जानना हो तो यह ग्रन्थ बहुत उपयोगी है।
