Multi-dimensional Application of Anekāntavāda

Today the world is entangled in the meshes of ideologies. Each ideology tried to uproot the others, but in the ensuing conflict it is humanity itself, which is being uprooted. In such an environment, the application of Anekāntavāda with its philosophy of relativity can play a supreme role in bringing harmony among these conflicting ideologies. If used it as a model, it persuades each sect to understand and appreciate the point of view of the other and thus removes discord. It is not a sect or just one more conflicting ideology, it is a way of thinking and living. It is a technique to synthesise and harmonise the conflicts, which can be applied in various disciplines and fields.
If applied as a decision model, its application will liberate the mind, develop the mind, and liberate from false beliefs, dogmas, superstition, dogmatic attitude, misconceptions and so on. Its main aim is to develop man's taste, reasoning, mind, rational thinking, consistent thinking and how to act in certain circumstances and how to judge between two courses of action and select the right course of action to proceed further for the onward march of liberation.
We are living in a world of chronic conflicts and in constant dread of war. Application of Anekāntavāda helps us to understand and think rationally, consistently all the aspects of a thing and to avoid the religious conflicts as well as biased attitudes. Application of Anekāntavāda is a panacea for the present communal problems and a key to peace and happiness, which is of prime importance.
