Ratnakirtti of Malayak he.lapatta, while on a pilgrimage tu Gumirates ara, started a seat at Humvacha. The pontifts of this seal ure invariably named Devendrakirtti. Dharmabboshana of Malayakheda went on pilgrimage to Mukta. giri in V.S. 1575.ind established a scal at Karaña.

and the time of the establishment of a branch of this game at Kärană are unknown. The third temple belongs to käsliga sangha, which according to Dr. lloerule arose in the time of Umasvami (A.D. 44). But the Jainas believe that it uriginated about the Sth Century 1.D
All these three temples possess a five collectior of old General condition of manuscripts, the Balatkaragand collection the manuscripts. being the biggest. All the records are written ou paper in Nagari characters except a few on palm leaves in Kanarese characters. The manuscripts are well prescried. The oldest of them is that of Upasakichand of Samantabhadra with a commentry by Prabhachandra It is dated in V.S. 1415, Sunday, the bright fortnight of the month of Magha corresponding to 612 June 1359 A.D. Another inanuscript of Panchistikaya of Kundu hunda chatya is dated in V.S. 1468, when Viranmadeva was reigning u Gopachala (Gwalior). A few more manuscripts are dated in the same century and hence are more or less 500 years old.
