Tatto niyattaye jo so pajjkkhanam havayı cheya कर्म यच्छुभमशुभ यस्मिश्च भावे बध्यते भविष्यत् । तस्मान्निवर्तते य स प्रत्याख्याम भवति वेतयिता ॥ ३८४ ॥
384 When a person keeps his Self away from future bondage likely to be caused by impure psychic states resulting from karmas good or bad, then that Self is certainly the nischaya pratyakhyāna or real renunciation
ज सुहमसुहमुदिण्ण सहि य अणेयवित्थरविसेस । त दोस जो चेयइ सो खलु आलोयण चेया ॥ ३८५ ।। Jam suhamasuha mudinnam sampadiya aneyavittharavisesam Tam dosam jo cheyayı sa kalu aloyanam cheya यच्छुभमशुभमुदीर्णं सप्रति चानेकविस्तरविशेषम् । तदोष य चेतयते स खल्वालोचन चेतयिता ।। ३८५ ।।

385 That soul which realises as evil all those psychic states of multifarious kinds which arise at present (in the consciousness) due to the operation of karmas is certainly the mschaya alochana or real confession
णिच्च पच्चक्खाण कुव्वइ णिच्च जो य पडिक्कमदि । णिच्च आलोचेयइ सो हु चरित हवइ चेया ॥ ३८६॥
Nichcham pachchakkhanam kuvvayı nichcham joya padikkamadı

Nichcham alochuyayı so hu charittam havayı cheya नित्य प्रत्याख्यान करोति नित्य प्रतिक्रमति यश्च । नित्यमालोचयति स खलु चरित्र भवति चेतयिता ॥ ३८६ ॥
386 That Self which is always engaged in the practice of these-real repentance, renunciation and confession, is certainly the mischaya charitra or real right conduct.
