SAMAYSARA
COMMENTARY
This statement about desire must be taken to be true in the
case of other emotions such as aversion, delusion, anger, pride deceit, gieed, etc
एव सम्माइटठी अप्पाण मुणदि जाणगसहाव ।
उदय कम्मविवाग च मुअदि तच्च वियाणतो ॥ २००॥ Evam sammaitthi appanam munadi janagasahavam Udayam kamma vivāgam cha muadi tachcham viyānan to (200) एव सम्यग्दृष्टि आत्मान जानाति ज्ञायकस्वभावम् । उदय कर्मविपाक च मुञ्चति तत्त्व विजानन् ॥ २००॥
200 Thus the right believer having a clear knowledge of reality apprehends his own Self to be of the nature as the Knower and rejects emotional states because they are the result of the manifestation of karmic matter
COMMENTARY
A clear understanding of the nature of reality thus enables one to accept what ought to be accepted and to reject what ought to be rejected
परमाणुमित्तिय प रागादी तु विज्जदे जस्स |
वि सो जाणदि अप्पाणय तु सव्वागमधरोवि ॥ २०१ ॥ Paramanumıtlıyam vi hu rāgādinam tu vijjade jassa Navi so janadi appa nayam tu savvägamadharovi (201) परमाणुमात्रमपि खलु रागादीना तु विद्यते यस्य । नापि स जानात्यात्मान तु सर्वागमधरोऽपि ॥ २०९ ॥

Verily one in whom attachment, etc, even to the extent of an atom, is present, cannot know the Self even if one be a master of all scriptures
अप्पाणमयाणतो अणप्पय चव सो अयाणतो ।
कह होदि सम्मदिट्ठी जीवाजीवे अयाणतो ॥२०॥ Appāna mayanantho anappayam cheva so ayananto Kaha hodi sammadıtlhi jīvājīve uyananto
आत्मानमजानन् अनात्मान चापि सोऽजानन् । कथ भवति सम्यग्दृष्टिर्जीवाजीवावजानन् ॥ २०२ ॥
