Jainism lays down that man alone is res ponsible for all that is good or bad in his life. This is the universal principle of Jainism in the true sense of the word, because it is meant for all human beings. Jainism more than any other creed gives absolute religious freedom to man. Nothing can intervene between the actions man does and the fruits thereof This gives free scope to, and imposes no restraint or restrictions on, his free will. And this also. allows him to choose between what is good and what is wrong, so that he may be better able to shape his actions.

.4..
I am the captain of my soul." Longfellow says:"All are architects of Fate.
Working in these walls of time. Some with massive deeds and great,
Some with ernaments of rhyme."
