But for those who cannot, or will not reach this state, there will inevitably remain the tri-une vision of the one undifferentiated Brahman as nature, soul, and the interpenetrating sustainer of both--Isvara. So, when Prahlada forgot himself, by rising to a higher plane of conciousness through excess of devotion, he perceived neither the universe nor its cause. All was to him as one Infinite Being, undifferentiated by name and form. But as soon as he on coming down the ordinary mental plane remembered that he was Prahlada, again appeared the universe before him and with it the Lord of the universe—"the repository of an infinite number of blessed qualities.” So it was with the blessed Gopis. So long as they had lost sense of their own personal identity and individuality by their intense love and yearning for Sree Krishna, they all felt them
