These 100 disappear before the next--the Appramatta step is reached.
The cighth step, as its name indicatos, gives the man expericnce of unique nature. Here a man increases his concentration by the Yogas and the coils of Karmas arc fast unloosened.
The ninth step-called the Anivrith karan-makcs very small changes in the above.
On the next step. the passions become very weak and so it is called thc Sookslima-Samparava.
On the eleventh, the passions are pacificd. But from here a descent to the sixth stcp is possible.
The first three classes of Karmas have to be totally destroye ed in order to reach the iwelveli-step. The first two parts of purc contemplation are present hcrc. Any explanation of the Jain Yoga would carry us beyond the scope of thic lccture and so the point has to be rather dropped in obscurity here.
This concentrated contemplation carrics the soul up to the thirteenth step, where cternal wisdom. illimitabic insight, everlasting happincss and unbounded prowess bless the soul. When this absolutc knowledge is acquired. Kuber and other heavenly beings raise thc Samarasarana where the twieve confercnccs mcct to hear ctcrnal wisdom from ilc Krrali. After prayers are offered, the Krroli goes about prcaching truth until, when the days of deliverance approach, he takes to the third part of pure contemplation (Slukla hran). Here the soul rcaches cvery part of the universe and is yet wiilin the body whose connection alone remains now. The last part of coniemplation follows on, when the fouriecoth step is ascended the body disarrears like burnt camphor. This is the Virrana,
