Verse 1. Victorious is the Boar incarnation of Vishnu that has stirred up the oceans and held the earth resting on the tip of its lofty right trunk.
Verse 2. In the midst of the lake which are the oceans rests the earth like a lotus. The mountain Mandara is its pericarp. To the south of the Mandara mountain lies the shining Bharatakshētra.
