Devendrasuri, pupil of Dhanesvarasūri of Nagendragatohha, composed the Chandraprabhacharita in Somesvarapura (Somanatha Pattana) in V. S. 1254 (or A. D 1197-8) He is said to have founded Serisa tirth, near Kalol, in the Mehsana District of Bombay State.(s).
Jinadattasūri, founder of the Vayatiya-gatchha, flourished about V. S. 1265 (A. D. 1209). He helped many persons to embrace Jainism He is known as the author of the Sr Jinendracharita, the Vivekavilāsa and the Suhanašāstra. He accompanied Vastupala in his pilgrimage to holy places in V.
