This statement of Hemaşūri, Kumarapala's contemporary, is substantially justified. Kumárapala's victory over the Sapadalakha deśa added the territories of the Chohana King to his Empire. The defeat of Mallikarjuna gave him Thana and Colaba Districts orer which the Silbara King held stay. He had inherited Gujarata, Catch, Kathiawada, Malwa and Morad from Siddharāja, his predecssor.
