In Idar, there was & rich man named Vatchbarāja who belonged to Ukeśakula. He von name and fame in the state by his excellent character and many donations. He had, by his wife Ráni, four sons named Govinda, Visala, Krurasimha and Hiro. Govinda built Adinātha's temple in Idar, Visala took up bis abode in Deulavātaka and married Khimai, & daughter of Ramadeva by his wife Melade, Ramadeva was a minister of Mevada; 80 Visala commanded influence at Court and became an apple of king Lakha's eye, He made pilgrimages to the holy places of the Juins, erected temples, and like his father, helped the people in times of famine. He was a patron of learning and the learned. At his expense, ten copies of Gunaratnasūri's Kreyāratnasamutchaya were made.76
