BLESSINGS
Dr. Nandlal Jain has compiled and prepared this Jaina
Glossary. This work is not only the first of its kind but it is also very
useful. He has consulted and sought advice from many Jaina
scholars in his adventure and has got it in print after hard labour. It
is not necessary to indicate about the utility of this Glossary. However, there is ample scope for its improvement in future. I
request the scholars to go through it and utilise this Glossary to
make suggestions in this direction so that its shortcomings may be
removed and additions may be incorporated in future edtion.
The Jain International is doing a yeomen service in publishing this Glossary. This enhances the image of both the
compiler and the institution. I hope that Jain International will keep up its tradition of involvement in excellent literary activities of this type for global promotion of Jainology. I have all my blessings to all the persons and the institution involved in the effort to catalyse their
continuty in such endeavours.
