Poetics. Kavyamimārisū of Riījus'ckharvo (8th century )-There is one incomplete palm-leaf MS. and another complete paper MS. at Pattan. The paper MS. is written about Samvat 1.480 and is generally correct. There exists one palm-leaf MS. at Jesalınere. The work is stated to have been in 18 chapters. Only the first chapter is to be found and that too only in the Bhandars.
Kavil? līvyce s'ils of Acīrya Vinay coulrrVinayacandra calls himself the author of 20 works. About five works are to be met with in the Bhandars. Neminithacatuspadi a Gujrati poem is supposed to have been written by this Vinayacandra. The author says that, he writes the present work in the words of Bappabhatti, who converted king Ama of Kanoja (8th century). Bappabhatti was called Krīvyas'iksī; he may have, therefore, composed a Kavis'iksa and our author might have made use of it in the present work. The work is not only very good in its own domain but also supplies much topographical information of Gujarat in his time. Unfortunately, the only extant palm-leaf MS. of the work in the Sanghavi's pādā is incomplete. It breaks off in the midst of the 4th pariccheda. Some 10 leaves are wanting to make the work complete.
Alamkāramahodadhit---by Narendraprabha, a pupil of Nara. candra composed at the request of Vastupāla. Only one MS. is known to exist. The MS. comes upto Arthālańkāra (8th chapter incomplete) a few of the concluding folia being lost. The present
