सोमसेनभद्वारकाविरचित
साङ्गुष्ठयज्ञसूत्रेण त्रिः प्रदक्षिणमाचरेत् ।
याः प्रवर्तन्त इति जले इदं मेत्र प्रवर्तनम् (१)॥ १०४॥ दोवार आचमन करके स्नान करे, फिर दो वार आचमन करे, पुनः मंत्रोच्चारण पूर्वक चोटीके गाँठ लगाकर प्राणायाम करे । इसके बाद स्नान कर शरीरको पोंछे, पुनः स्नान कर दो वार आचमन करे । इसके बाद नो वार पंचपरमेष्ठी पदको उच्चारण कर मार्जन करे। और अँगूठेके साथ साथ पज्ञोपवनीतको तीन दक्षिणाकार फिरा ले।। १०२ ॥ १०३॥ १०४॥
सङ्कल्प सूत्रपठनं मार्जनं चाघमर्पणम् ।
देवादितर्पणं चैव पंचागं स्नानमाचरेत् ॥ १०५॥ संकल्प करना, मंत्र पढ़ना, मार्जन करना, अघमर्षण करना और देवोंका तर्पण करना ये पाँच स्नानके अंग हैं ॥ १०५ ॥
गृहस्याभिमुखं स्नायान्मार्जनं चाघमर्षणम् ।
अन्यत्रार्कमुखो रात्रौ प्राङ्मुखोदङ्मुखोऽपि वा ॥ १०६ ॥ यदि घरपर ही स्नान करना हो तो घरकी और मुँह करके स्नान, मार्जन और अघमर्षण करे । यदि और और ठौर स्नान करना हो तो पूर्वकी ओर मुख करके स्नानादि करे । तथा रात्रिके समय स्नान करनेका मौका आवे तो पूर्व या उत्तरको मुख करके स्नानादि क्रिया करे ॥ १०६ ॥
