त्रैवर्णिकाचार ' पादे मध्यमिका चैव उन्नता. चाधिगच्छति ।
वामहस्ते घरेजारं दक्षिणे तु पति पुनः ॥ २२ ॥ जिसके पैरकी बीचकी उंगली यदि ऊंची हो तो वह यारको बायें हाथमें और पतिको दाहिने हाथमें धारण करेगी। ऐसा जानना चाहिए ॥ २२ ॥
पादेऽप्यनामिका यस्या महीं न स्पृशति यदि ।
दुःशीला दुर्भगा चैव तां कन्यां परिवर्जयेत् ॥ २३ ॥ जिसके पैरकी अनामिका-छेवटकी उंगलीके पासकी उंगली यदि जमीनपर न टिकती हो तो समझना चाहिए कि वह कन्या व्यभिचारिणी-खोटे स्वभाववाली तथा दुर्भग है। ऐसी कन्याके साथ विवाह नहीं करना चाहिये ॥ २३ ॥
यस्यास्त्वनामिका प्हस्वा तां विदुः कलहपियाम् ।
भामें न स्पृशते यस्याः खादते सा पतिद्वयम् ॥ २४ ॥ जिसके पैरकी अनामिका उगली छोटी हो तो उसे कलहकारिणी समझो। और उसकी वह उंगली यदि जमीन पर न टिकती हो तो समझो कि वह कन्या दो पतियोंको खायगी ॥२४॥
पादे कनिष्ठिका यस्या भूमिं न स्पृशते यदि ।
कुमारी रमते जारे यौवने का विचारणा ॥ २५ ॥ जिसके पैरकी कनिष्ठा छेवटकी उंगली यदि जमीनपर न टिकती हो तो वह कुँवारी ही यारोंसे रमती है, ऐसा समझो । न मालूम यौवनावस्थामें वह किसका क्या करेगी ॥ २५ ॥
उन्नता पाठिणदुःशीला महापाष्णिदेरिद्रता ।
दीर्घपाणिरतिक्लिष्टा समपाणिः सुशोभना ॥ २६ ॥ जिसकी पाणि (पैरोंके ऊपरके दोनों तरफके उठे हुए भाग) ऊंची हो तो बुरे स्वभाववाली अथवा व्यभिचारिणी, मोटी हो तो दरिद्रा, लंबी हो तो अत्यन्त क्लेश भोगनेवाली, और बराबर हो तो अति सुंदर है; ऐसा जानना चाहिए ॥ ६॥
अङ्गुष्ठैमहिपाकारैर्वन्धन कलहप्रिया ।
निगूढगुल्फैर्या नारी सा नारी सुखमेधते ॥ २७ ॥ जिसका अंगूठा भैसेके आकार.हो तो वह पतिका बंधन करती है और कलहकारिणी है। तथा जिसके गुल्फ भीतरको फंसे हुए हों-दिखते न हों तो वह.नारी परिपूर्ण सुखी है, ऐसा समझो॥२७॥
कूर्मपृष्ठं भगं यस्याः कृष्णं स्निग्धं सुशोभनम् ।।
धनधान्यवती चैव पुत्रान् सूते न संशयः ॥ २८ ॥ जिसकी योनि कच्छपकी पीठ ज्यों उठी हुई हो, काली हो, गुद्गुदी हो, देखनेमें, मनोहर हो तो वह धन धान्य, और पुत्रवाली है या होगी। इसमें कुछ भी संदेह नहीं, ऐसा समझो ॥ २८॥ .
गम्भीरनाभिर्या नारी सा नारी: सुखमेधते । रोमभिः स्वर्णवर्णैश्च निवृत्ता त्रिवलीयुता ॥ २९ ॥
