धर्मात्मा लोग जघन्य मध्यम और उत्तम इन तीनों पात्रोंको दान देवें । इनको दिया हुआ दान, इस लोकसम्बन्धी और परलोकसम्बन्धी वास्तविक सम्पत्तिके देनेका कारण है। भावार्थ-इन तीनों पात्रोंको दान देनेवाले धर्मात्माओंको दोनों लोकोंमें उत्तम सुखकी प्राप्तिका कारण तरह तरहकी भोगोपभोगकी सामग्रियां मिलती हैं ॥ १११ ॥
भोग पात्रके लक्षण। भोगपात्रं तु दारादि संसारसुखदायकम् ।
तस्य देयं सुभूषादि स्वशक्त्या धर्महेतवे ॥ ११२ ॥ स्त्री पुत्र आदि भोगपात्र कहे जाते हैं ये सांसारिक सुखके देनेवाले हैं इनको धर्मके लिए अपनी शक्तिके अनुसार अच्छे अच्छे आभूषण कपड़े आदि देने चाहिएं ॥ ११२ ॥
__ भोगपात्रोंको दान न देनेका फल । यदि न दीयते तस्य करोति न वचस्तदा ।
पूजादानादिकं नैवं कार्यं हि घटते गृहे ॥ ११३ ॥ ___ यदि भोग पात्रोंको दान न दिया जाय तो वे उसकी बातको न मानेंगे और पूजन आदि कार्य घरमें अच्छी तरह न बन सकेंगे। इस लिए भोगपात्रोंको अवश्य दान देना चाहिए ॥ ११३ ॥
यशपात्रका लक्षण । . भट्टादिकं यशस्पानं लोके कीर्तिप्रवर्तकम् ।
देयं तस्य धनं भूरि यशसे च सुखाय च ।। ११४ ॥ भाट ब्राह्मण आदि लोकमें कीर्ति फैलानेवाले यशपात्र हैं इनको अपने यश और सुखके लिए बहुतसा धन देना चाहिए ॥ ११४ ।।
यशपात्रोंको दान न देनेका फल। . विना कीर्त्या वृथा जन्म मनोदुःखप्रदायकम् ।
मनोदुःखे भवेदात पापबन्धस्तथार्तितः ॥ ११५ ॥ संसारमें नामवरीके बिना जन्मधारण करना व्यर्थ है । ऐसा जन्म रात-दिन हृदयमें वेदना उत्पन्न करता रहता है, चित्तमें अत्यन्त संक्लेश होता है, चित्तमें संक्लेश होनेसे भारी आर्तध्यान होता है, जिसके होनेसे पाप कर्मका बन्ध होता है । इसलिए कीर्तिके लिए उचित आचरण करना चाहिए ॥ ११५॥
