यह पढ़कर होम करनेके घीको अपने पास स्थापन करे ॥ ४० ॥ ... : :
ॐ ही रुचमुपस्करोमि स्वाहा ।। रुचस्तापनं मार्जन जलसेचनः पुनस्तापनमग्रे निधापनं च ॥४१॥ .
यह मंत्र पढ़कर सुक (सुची) अर्थात् घी होमनेके पात्रका संस्कार इस प्रकार करे कि प्रथम उसे आग्निपर तपावे सेके इसके बाद उसे पौंछे, इसके बाद उसपर जल साँचे पुन: अग्निपर तपावे। और अपने सामने रक्खें ॥४१॥
ॐ ही रुवमुपस्करोमि स्वाहा ॥ स्रुवस्थापनं तथा ॥ ४२ ॥
यह मंत्र बोलकर सुव अर्थात् होम सामग्रीको होमनेके पात्रका सुचीकी तरह संस्कार करे स्थापना करै ।। ४२॥
ॐ ही आज्यमुद्वासयामि स्वाहा ॥ दर्भपिण्डोज्वलेन आज्यस्योद्वासनमुत्पाचनमवेक्षणं च ॥४३॥
यह मंत्र पढ़कर धीको तपावे । वह इस तरह कि दुर्भके पूलेको जलाकर घीको उदासन ( उठावे ) उत्पाचन (तपावे ) और अवेक्षण ( देखे ) करे ॥ ४३ ॥
ॐ ही पवित्रतरजलेन द्रव्यशुद्धिं करोमि स्वाहा ॥ होमद्रव्यप्रोक्षणम् ॥ ४४ ॥ यह मंत्र पढ़कर द्रव्यशुद्धि करे ॥ ४४ ॥
ॐ ही कुशमाददामि स्वाहा ॥दर्भपूलमादाय सर्वद्रव्यस्पर्शनम्।।४५।। यह मंत्र पढ़कर दर्भके पूलेको उठाकर सबः द्रव्यसे छुवावे ॥ ४५ ॥ .
ॐ ही परमपवित्राय स्वाहा ॥ अनामिकांगुल्या पवित्रधारणम्॥४६॥ यह मंत्र पढ़कर अनामिका उंगलीमें पवित्र पहने ॥ ४६ ॥
ॐ ही सम्यग्दर्शनज्ञानचारित्राय स्वाहा ॥ यज्ञोपवीतधारणम् ।।४।। यह मंत्र पढ़कर यज्ञोपवीत पहने ॥ ४७॥
ॐ ही अग्निकुमाराय परिपेचनं करोमि स्वाहा ॥अग्निपर्युक्षणम् ४८॥ यह मंत्र पढ़कर कुंडके चारों ओर पानीकी धार छोड़े ॥४८॥ ..
