लिखा है * । ये प्रभाचंद्र विक्रमकी १६ वीं शताब्दीके विद्वान् थे; क्यों कि उक्त जिनचंद्रके एक शिष्य पं० मेधावीने वि० सं० १५४१ में 'धर्मसंग्रह-श्रावकाचार'को बनाकर समाप्त किया है।
(१९) वे प्रभाचंद्र जिन्हें 'ज्ञानसूर्योदय ' नाटकके कर्ता 'वादिचन्द्र' सूरिने अपना पट्टगुरु और ज्ञानभूषणका पट्टशिष्य लिखा है। उक्त नाटक सं० १६४८ में बनकर समाप्त हुआ है। इससे ये प्रभाचंद्र विक्रमकी प्रायः १६ वीं शताब्दीके उत्तरार्ध और १७ वीं शताब्दीके पूर्वाधके विद्वान् जान पड़ते हैं। ..
(२०) वे सब प्रभाचंद्र जो श्वेताम्बर सम्प्रदायके आचार्य हुए हैं, और जिनके पृथक् पृथक् नामोल्लेखादिकी यहाँ कोई जरूरत मालूम नहीं होती।
इन 'प्रभाचंद्र ' नामके विद्वानोंमेंसे प्रथम चार विद्वानोंकी बनाई हुई यह टीका नहीं है, क्योंकि इस टीकामें 'प्रमेयकमलमार्तड' और 'न्यायकुमुदचंद्रोदय' ग्रंथोंका उल्लेख पाया जाता है। और ये चारों ही प्रभाचंद्र इन दोनों ग्रंथोंकी रचनासे पहले हो गये हैं। पहले नम्बरके प्रभाचंद्र तो मूल ग्रथंकी रचनासे भी पहलेके विद्वान् हैं । १६ वें नम्बरसे १९ ३ नम्बरतकके विद्वानोंकी भी बनाई हुई यह टीका नहीं है; क्योंकि ये चारों ही प्रभाचंद्र, जो विक्रमकी १५ वी १६ वीं और १७ वीं शताब्दियोंके विद्वान् हैं, पं० आशाधरजोसे बहुत पीछे हुए हैं और पं० आशाधरजीकी अनगारधर्मामतटीकामें, जो वि० सं० १३०० में बनकर समाप्त हुई है, इस टीकाका निम्नप्रकारसे उल्लेख मिलता है___ यथाहुस्तत्र भगवन्तः श्रीमत्प्रभेन्दुदेवपादा रत्नकरण्डकटीकायां 'चतु. रावर्तत्रितय' इत्यादिसूत्रे 'द्विनिषा' इत्यस्य व्याख्याने “देववन्दना कुवर्ताहि प्रारंभे समाप्तौ चोपविश्य प्रणामः कर्तव्यः" इति ।

* देखो, जैन सिद्धान्तभास्करकी ४ थी किरणमें प्रकाशित 'मूल (नन्दी) संघकी दूसरी पट्टावली' तथा 'पाण्डवपुराणकी दानप्रशस्ति;' और पिटर्सन साहबकी ४ थी रिपोर्ट में प्रकाशित 'त्रिषष्ठिलक्षणमहापुराणसंग्रह' (नं. १३९९) तथा 'ऋषभनाथचरित्र' (नं० १४०४ ) को दानप्रशस्तियाँ, जो क्रमशः वि० सं० १६३२ और १७१० की लिखी हुई हैं।
