उनकी प्रवृत्ति हुई है, और उन्होंने संपूर्ण मिथ्या प्रवादको विघटित - तितरवितर - कर दिया है ।
प्रज्ञाधीशप्रपूज्योज्ज्वलगुणनिकरोद्भूतसत्कीर्तिसम्पद्विद्यानंदोदयायानवरतमखिलक्लेशनिर्णाशनाय | स्ताद्वौः सामन्तभद्री दिनकररुचिजित्सप्तभंगीविधीद्धा भावाद्येकान्तचेतस्तिमिरनिरसनी वोकलंकप्रकाशा ||

इस पद्य में वे ही विद्यानंद आचार्य यह सूचित करते हैं कि समन्तभद्रकी वाणी उन उज्ज्वल गुणोंके समूहसे उत्पन्न हुई सत्कीर्तिरूपी सम्पत्तिसे युक्त है जो बड़े बड़े बुद्धिमानों द्वारा प्रपूज्य * है; वह अपने तेजसे सूर्यकी किरणको जीतनेवाली सप्तभंगी विधिके द्वारा प्रदीप्त है, निर्मल प्रकाशको लिये हुए है और भाव - अभाव आदिके एकान्त पक्षरूपी हृदयांधकारको दूर करनेवाली है । साथ ही, अपने पाठकों को यह आशीर्वाद देते हैं कि वह वाणी तुम्हारी विद्या ( केवलज्ञान) और आनन्द ( अनंतसुख ) के उदय के लिये निरंतर कारणीभूत होवे और उसके प्रसादसे तुम्हारे संपूर्ण क्लेश नाशको प्राप्त हो जायँ । यहाँ 'विद्यानन्दोदयाय ' पदसे एक दूसरा अर्थ भी निकलता है और उससे यह सूचित होता है कि समंतभद्रकी वाणी विद्यानंदाचार्य के उदयका कारण हुई है + और इसलिये उसके द्वारा उन्होंने अपने और उदयकी भी भावना की है ।
