ऐसी हालतमें यह ग्रंथ लघुसमंतभद्रादिका बनाया हुआ न होकर उन्हीं समन्तभद्र स्वामीका बनाया हुआ प्रतीत होता है जो 'देवागम' नामक आप्तमी. मांसाग्रंथके कर्ता थे।
(३) 'राजावलिकथे' नामक कनड़ी ग्रंथमें भी, स्वामी समंतभद्रकी कथा देते हुए, उन्हें 'रत्नकरंडक' आदि ग्रन्थोंका कर्ता लिखा है । यथा
“आ भावितीर्थकरन् अप्प समन्तभद्रस्वामिगलु पुनीक्षेगोण्डु तपस्सा. मर्थ्यदि चतुरङ्गलचारणास्वमं पडेदु रत्नकरण्डकादिजिनागमपुराणमं पेल्लि स्याद्वादवादिगल आगि समाधिय् ओडेदरु ।" - ( ४ ) विक्रमकी १३ वीं शताब्दीके विद्वान पं० आशाधरजीने अनगार धर्मामृत और सागारधर्मामृतकी स्वोपज्ञटीका ( भव्यकुमुदचंद्रिका ) में, स्वामिसमंतभद्रके पूरे अथवा संक्षिप्त ( स्वामी ) नामके साथ, रत्नकरंडकके कितने ही पद्योंका-अर्थात्, उन पद्योंका जो इस ग्रंथके प्रथम परिच्छेदमें नं. ५, २२, २३, २४, ३० पर, तृतीय परिच्छेदमें नं० १६, २०, ४४ पर और पाँचवें परिच्छेदमें * नं. ७, १६, २० पर दर्ज हैं-उल्लेख किया है। और कुछ पद्योंको-जो प्रथम परिच्छेदमें नं० १४, २१,३२,४१ पर पाये जाते हैंबिना नामके भी उद्धृत किया है। इन सब पद्योंका उल्लेख उन्होंने प्रमाणरूपसे-अपने विषयके पुष्ट करनेके अर्थ-अथवा स्वामिसमंतभद्रका मतविशेष प्रदर्शित करनेके लिये ही किया है। अनगारधर्मामृतके १६ वें पद्यकी टीकामें आप्तका निर्णय करते हुए, आपने ' आप्तो नोत्सन्नदोषेण ' इत्यादि पद्य नं. ५ को आगमका वचन लिखा है और उस आगमका कर्ता स्वामिसमंतभद्रको बतलाया है। ... यथा
वेद्यते निश्चीयते। कोसौ ? स आप्तोत्तमः ।...कस्मात् ? आगमात" आप्तेनोसन्नदोषेण सर्वज्ञेनागमेशिना । भवितव्यं नियोगेन नान्यथा ह्याप्तता _* प्रभाचंद्राचार्यने, अपनी टीकामें इस ग्रंथको पाँच परिच्छेदोंमें ही विभाजिंत किया है; परंतु सनातनग्रंथमालादिकमें प्रकाशित मूल ग्रंथमें सात परिच्छेद पाये जाते हैं, और उसकी दृष्टिसे ७ वें नंबरका पद्य छठे परिच्छेदका, और शेष दोनों पद्य सातवें परिच्छेदके (नं० २, ६ वाले ) हैं।
