with arts and this must have been in all probability Kalapariccheda. This section however might have become lost later.
The fourth view is that Dvisandhana is the third work of Dandin since Bhoja in his Srigara-prakasa refers to this work twice in the expression दण्डिनो धनञ्जयस्य वा द्विसन्धाने ( 7th Prakasa) and रामायणमहाभारतयोर्दण्डिद्विसन्धानमिव (9th Prakasa).
There is also difference of opinion as to Dandin's authorship of Dasakumaracarita as it is now current. It has been pointed cut that as older commentaries are available only for the उत्तरभाग and not for the पूर्वभाग and as the q shows considerable variations in the text, the IT alone is the original work of Dandin.
Sri Ramakrishna Kavi observes that the gas written by Dandin was lost and the text now available is the one reconstructed from a Telugu translation of the original made by the poet Ketana and that this fact is testified to by the close agreement between the current Sanskrit text and the Telugu version, by the presence of several idioms and usages current only in the Telaga language in the Sanskrit text and by the express mention by Ketana that he is translating Dandin's work.*
