Sangheeji Jain Temple Granth
Bhandar
This granth Bhandar is situated in the Digambar Jaina Temple Sanghee ji, Rasta Pt. SIVDEEN-JI-KA-CHOKARI-MODI-KHANA, Jaipur.
The Bhandar possesses a valuable collection of 640 manuscripts and 60 GUTKAS pertains 15th to 19th century in the Languages like Sanskrit, Prakrit, Hindi and Rajasthani. All the manuscripts are written on paper.
The main subjects on which the manuscripts are available like katha, Puja, Purana and Virt Vidhan.
Some notable and rare manuscripts are the “SAPTA VYASANA:.. CHARITRA of BHATTARAK SOMA KIRTI: (Copied dated Samvat 1529) and the “MADHU MATI KATHA” of “CHATUR BHUJA" . which is illustrated. This manuscript is containing 15 coloured painting illustrations representing Rajasthani art.
