अध्याय - ४
इन्द्रसामानिकत्रायस्त्रिंशपारिषदात्मरक्षलोकपालानीकप्रकीर्णकाभियोग्यकिल्विषिकाश्चैकशः ॥४॥
ऊपर कहे हुए चार प्रकार के देवों में हर एक के दश भेद हैं:- 1. इन्द्र, 2. सामानिक, 3. त्रायस्त्रिंश, 4. पारिषद्, 5. आत्मरक्ष, 6. लोकपाल, 7. अनीक, 8. प्रकीर्णक, 9. आभियोग्य और 10. किल्विषिक ।
There are ten grades in each of these classes of celestial beings, the Lord (Indra), his Equal, the Minister, the courtiers, the bodyguards, the police, the army, the citizens, the servants, and the menials.
त्रायस्त्रिंशलोकपालवर्ज्या व्यन्तरज्योतिष्काः ॥५॥
ऊपर जो दश भेद कहे हैं उनमें से त्रायस्त्रिंश और लोकपाल ये भेद व्यन्तर और ज्योतिषी देवों में नहीं होते अर्थात्
उनमें दो भेदों को छोड़कर बाकी के आठ भेद होते हैं।
