________________ Shri Ashtapad Maha Tirth Research and Field Trips Kailash Mountain also known as KANG RIM POCHE is 25 miles north of Mansarovar up in the Himalayas. Between Mansarovar (Padma Had) and Kailash, about 5-7 miles North-East, is another mountain called Ashtapad. Kailash at A.M. TRENCH Moun, Kailash Mount Ashtapad This mountain is 8 miles in height as per scriptures and is covered with white snow and hence known as Dhawalgiri. You can walk from "DARECHIN” after crossing about 15-20 mountain hills, and one will reach there in 4 to 6 hours. Buddhist pilgrims call this mountain "Kang Siche." Wallike structure Pyramid Walke structure Wall like structure Nandi Parvat: Shri Bharatbhai Hansraj Shah thinks this could be Ashtapad. He has taken several pictures of the mountain to prove that this is “Sinh Nishadhya Prasad" Kailash and Nandi in the front -3$ 427 -Ratna Mandir
