अध्याय - 10 शब्द ज्ञान नहीं है क्योंकि शब्द कुछ नहीं जानता; इसलिए ज्ञान अन्य है, शब्द अन्य है, ऐसा जिनेन्द्रदेव कहते हैं।
Spoken word is not knowledge because spoken word does not comprehend anything. Therefore, knowledge is one thing and spoken word another; this has been proclaimed by the Omniscient Lord.
रूप ज्ञान से भिन्न है -
रूवं णाणं ण हवदि जम्हा रूवं ण याणदे किंचि। तम्हा अण्णं णाणं अण्णं रूवं जिणा विंति॥
(10-85-392)
रूप ज्ञान नहीं है क्योंकि रूप कुछ नहीं जानता; इसलिए ज्ञान अन्य है, रूप अन्य है, ऐसा जिनेन्द्रदेव कहते हैं।
